BTW, this nice enlarging effect is FancyBox and is made with the plugin PlusKit. Pluskit can automatically convert your photos to 'FancyZoom' or 'LightBox' format too (this is super-slick).

BACKGROUND IMAGE
With this theme you can add a full screen window background image to your webpage. The image expands when you increase your browserwindow. A downloadlink for 100 different images (1024px x 768px) and 160 images (1024px x 683px) are included, but I'm sure that your own image is much nicer!
Any height or width is possible! When you’ve for example a height of 500px and a width of 1024px the bottom part of the image will be more visible with larger computer screens. It’s all up to you.
It's not needed to add a background-image, you can keep it simple and clean. Any color is possible too!

MENU
The down- and right-arrows of the jquery dropdown menu show the menu-items with sublevels for clear navigation through your website.

TITLE and SLOGAN
The Title is always above the menu but the Slogan can be below the Title or below the footer. Width of the Title stroke can be browserwide or contentwide.

THE LOGO
The logo appears in right part of the header next to the Title and Slogan (example). The Readme explains how to move the logo to any another position.
The Title and Logo have a link with the index.html of your website.

ec_outofthebox
EXTRACONTENT
OUT-OF-THE-BOX has up to 6 ExtraContent areas that allows the user to add more content then RapidWeaver typically allows. You can use this area for text, images, newstickers, Google ads, a Date and Time snippet, text, images or slideshows (for example with the Weaverpix or symNivo plugin). Colours, font, fontsize and background can be changed in the Colour Palette in the Theme Styles and with the EC-CSS Snippet.
The EC1 area is above the Title. The EC2 area is covering the Title area (the area just above the Menu). So please use this EC only for a slideshow, such as the symNivo or Weaverpix. The EC3 area is between the menu and the content. Very nice for a flash header (such as the symNivo plugin or the Weaverpix plugin) too. The EC4 area is bellow the Content. The EC5 area is below the footer and the EC6 area is just as EC5 below the footer when enabled in Theme Styles > Slogan Position • ExtraContent 5 and 6. It has the same background as the Slogan. It's not possible to enable both EC areas (5 and 6) on one page!

SLIDESHOWS
For slideshows you can import your symNivo or WeaverPix slideshow plug-in into the banner with PlusKit's @import feature (EC 4 enabled, but you can use other EC areas too). Only an image in the banner is also possible.
Example Weaverpix.
Example symNivo.

CSS-codes
This demosite is build with different Theme Styles and with very simple CSS-codes for extra styling. You can paste these in the Custom CSS (Page-Inspector > Header > CSS) of your RW-page. There are more of these codes in the Readme file and they are really very simple to use.

CSS3
CSS3: sometimes I've used CSS3 box shadows and rounded corners in the menu, the footer and the Title and Slogan background... and more. Internet Explorer 6, 7 and 8 don't support rounded corners and other CSS3 features.

SEARCHBOX
There is an option for a Searchbox (you'll need the RapidSearch plugin for this) in the ExtraContent5 area. This demosite shows some examples. But any EC area is possible.

iPad and iPhone
The iPad/iPod/iPhone and some other mobile devices cannot handle background image stretchers. So when you have to scroll down on a page, the lower part of text falls outside of the image. To prevent this make sure you choose a background colour in the Theme Styles that allows you to properly read the text, and is similar to the colour of the background image (e.g. if your text is white and the bottom part of your background image black, choose black as the background colour in Theme Styles > Colours, so it will look as if the picture does not end when you're scrolling down. Example). Though this is only important when you have a lot of content on a page, just to be on the safe side you might always choose a background colour similar to the background image.

Furthermore: if you are going to use this theme mostly for use with mobile devices. you should try not to put too much content on one page for optimal viewing. Everyone knows that you should write web pages that are short. Content that is hidden below the bottom of the browser will never be seen by most readers. Many readers find scrolling annoying. But when you use the theme mostly for normal computers it does not matter how much content there is on the page: when you scroll down the background image will always be fully visible!
