Theme info of the Rapidweaver STRIPPED theme

The slide toggle of the content is done with the Hide 'n' Show stack.

Web trends have dramatically changed and technology has greatly improved, yet clean web design has remained consistent and beautiful. The STRIPPED theme uses the smallest amount of images, colors, shapes, values and lines. It's stripped down to the fundamentals required to convey the message.

The Internet isn’t just on your computer screen anymore. It’s also on your phone, tablet and laptop. So when you visit a modern webpage the content responds to the device on which it is being rendered. To see it in action, open this page on a desktop browser and slowly make the browser thinner and wider... Or have a look here.

The STRIPPED theme has a drop down menu with only one sublevel (!) on your desktop and mobile device. Down-arrows show the menu-items with a sublevel for clear navigation through your website.
Choose from 6 different menu positions: menu in the body (left, center, right) or within the container (left, center, right).

The theme has 3 background patterns built-in (you can also add your own!) or choose any color to the background.

ExtraContent allows you to add more content then RapidWeaver typically allows. The theme has 6 ExtraContent areas: EC1 is between the menu and the Title, EC2 is between content and footer and EC3 is below the footer.
ExtraContent4 (by default disabled) can be used for a (responsive) slide show (with the Weaverpix plugin or a responsive slide show stack) or image between the Title/Slogan and menu.
EC5 is by default disabled too. It's a slide-out panel (built-in) below the menu: example1, example2, example3. You can add text, stacks an/or images into the EC5.
ExtraContent6 (by default disabled) can be used for a (responsive) slide show (with the Weaverpix plugin or a responsive slide show stack) or image. The Menu is over or below the image/slideshow: example1, example2, example3.

There are some extra content snippets in the download file, but it's much easier to use the free ExtraContent stack. Learn more about Extra Content here.

The Logo and the Title have a link with the index.html page of your website. By default the logo is above the Menu (optional Left, Right or Center), when enabled in the Theme Styles > Miscellaneous > Show Logo (example). In this example it's at the right side. There's also an option to replace the Title with your logo!

FONT AWESOME:   Font Awesome is integrated into this theme. That means you have 302 FontAwesome icons (and with Font Awesome 4 even 369 icons) at your disposal, in any color and any size you like. Font Awesome icons are vectors, which mean they're gorgeous on high-resolution displays. And they are completely free for commercial use.

This theme provides built-in support for Nimblehost's RapidSearch plugin (not included). You can put a Searchbox (you'll need the RapidSearch plugin for this) in the ExtraContent or somewhere else (sidebar, content, footer).

Built-in is an option to make your images fluid, whether they are in the content or in the sidebar. Very simple. Only add the text flexible in the input field of the Alt Tag in the Media Inspector.

The Manual is built-in (Theme Styles > Miscellaneous > View User Manual). It shows up when you're online and n preview mode.
It is very extended and describes very detailed and with some tutorials how to style your site and how to add background patterns, font-awesome icons, add text-shadow to the Title, etc.

Almost every day new stacks are released and I haven't test them all. So I cannot guarantee that every stack will work. The StacksCenter website shows all available stacks.

This Rapidweaver theme has been tested and is OK with all browsers: IE8+, Google Chrome, Firefox and Safari (for Windows and Mac), and on your iPhone/Android and iPad/tablet. It works fine with IE7 too, but the font-awesome icons don't show up.

This theme has many different Theme Styles and Color Options, don’t forget the Miscellaneous part:

Before sending me questions, please try all options, so you can see what opportunities this theme provides.

The Manual is very detailed. Read this very carefully before you send me questions. If your troubles are not exclusive to my theme or if you think the issue might be a software concern, please do a search on the Realmac Software forum first.

But you can also post your questions on the Realmac Software forums (RAINBOW thread) and I am sure that I or one of the folks there will help straighten you out enough.
